The day this happened me and a small group met for the ministry at crystal beach right off the boliver penninsuala across galveston bay at a church friends house. We were sitting in the living room going over scriptures and points that we could share with people we met in the ministry to give them comfort from gods word. And then as we looked up at the television that was on in the background with the volume muted, we all stared in amazement as we were looking at the first plane that hit the tower and wondering what was taking place. We waited and sat back down shocked at what just had happened staring at the tv. After sitting there and minutes went by and then we all seen the second plane hit the second tower, and our jaws dropped. The brother that was leading the ministry group stepped in some minutes later and helped us to focus back on the ministry to reach people, even though this had just happened. So he said a prayer for us and we went and visited new ones and interested ones that we had spoken with before. What I remember about that day is that every door we knocked on opened and people were concerned and wanted bible answers. I shared Psalms 37:10-11 where it states that a little while longer and the wicked one will be no more. verse 11 states, that the meek shall inherit the earth. And those exact words are what Jesus quoted at Mathew 5:5 “Happy are the mild-tempered+ ones, since they will inherit the earth.+ The hope that I am waiting for god to fullfill through Jesus for the people that died on 911 is this. john 5:28-29. 28 Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs+ will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life,+ Amen.....
