***The days are shorter now. Ok so theres less hours of sunlight, agreed....but I think youll find theres still 24 hours per day. If you have dropped off from training in the last 2 weeks then I suggest you reconsider and get yo ass etc back to the gym. Less sunlight is a given and we miss the sun and its energising effects. If you add to this the removal of the happy high of exercise and youre going to feel a serious drop in your satisfaction levels through the winter months. Stick with the training, this you can control, sunlight you cant. Spent 10/11 months of the year building strength, fitness, definition through Training? Extended time-off will lead to Detraining and this WILL rob you of these improvements. Are you really ready to sign-off for the year and say good bye to everything youve taken the last 300 days to build? Not on my watch! Improvements are precious, youve worked hard/smart for them- dont throw them away now just because its coming toward the end of the year ya nut! Less sessions, ok. Shorter sessions, ok. No sessions, NOT OK! If things are getting busier for you toward the end of the year and time is at a premium- shorten your sessions. Whittle away the chaff from your workouts, get sessions down to 30-40minutes, but keep your frequency. Shorter sessions are infinitely more effective than no sessions! Get a session with a PT if you want to be shown how to achieve more, in less time. Stop training now and youll be back at square 1 come the New Year. Keep at it and you can enjoy next year being an even better year than this. KEEP AT IT! >Double UP! continues as the October Progress Gym monthly challenge- Box jumps, Slam Ball slams, KB swings and push-ups- you know its going to hurt! You have 11 days to enter and WIN! >Eggs ETA 11am Progress Gym is open tonight until 9.30pm***
