The deadline has now passed for our special £5m investment and we are excited to announce that we have received 75 applications with a total funding request of £24.5m. The applications will now be assessed to ensure they will help more people in Yorkshire avoid, survive and cope with cancer, and only the very best quality projects will be successful. The high number of applications for funding has really emphasised the need for more investment in tackling the regions cancer inequalities.
