The debate about who will be the next gavana or mp in kericho county does not add up. To me, what should be of a concern is the leadership that can help bring prosperity. Our county landscape and beauty is unmatched in the entire country. But, if we can have visionary leaders, then we can create a paradise on earth. As far as the issue of a multi national lease expiry is concerned, I plea with the current leadership to negotiate a better term contract/lease rather than take over. I dont think we can maintain the management standard of the multinational. Let us not been duped so that a local buyers take over the estates. We have two mighty rivers and others running across the county. This resource is never been tapped. Electric and water supply can emanicipate the county into an economic explosion. The question is, do we have such visionary leaders to do that job? Waiting for the next election does not count but we act now.
