Trail update: WATER IS BACK ON THE TRAIL!! We are working as quickly as possible to get the trail clear of debrise from the October blizzard. Unfortunatly, there was a lot of damage! Fortunatly, the weather is finally starting to behave and we have been able to move a little faster. So the short report: Crazy Horse to Edgemont- Good riding but a few small ruts and washouts; Crazy Horse to Hill City- Mostly cleared with a few ruts; Hill City to Rochford- look out for low hanging branches and a few trees that are cut back just far enough to get thru; Rochford to Dumont- currently working to remove trees and clean, some snow just south of Dumont Trailhead; Dumont to Sugarloaf- soft, muddy and we havent gotten to this area yet. If you plan to ride keep your eyes open for low branches and trees across the trail. Sugarloaf to Lead and Deadwood: beautiful riding! Happy Open House Weekend!!
