The deputy upper east regional minister has visited the surviving victim of last weeks accident at least 3 times since she was discharged from hospital on Tuesday. This is according to her brother whom i spoke to earlier today . The minister has also given her an amount 1,500 GHC in settlement of an amount of 800 GHC she said she had lost in the accident and medical bills. He had initially given her 380 GHC while she was still at the hospital. The family tells me that they are satisfied with what the minister has done and will have no problem having the case settled out of court if the family of the dead victim agrees.
