The destruction and privatisation of public housing is not just happening here but is happening GLOBALLY. We are following the UK model and this fbk site bears witness to the ugly housing crisis in the UK. The community and social housing solution hasnt worked has it ?? The politicians and beaurocrats know - or SHOULD know - that in England, housing is a social disaster of huge proportions. However we are being dragged down this road anyway - with no real opposition from any of the major parties !! In true economic rationalist language- while people are homeless and cant afford heating and food, the Housing Associations in the UK are belly- aching about danger to their profits and their financial health. Well lets see the books then. Oh thats right they are private companies- after all- and FOI requests dont apply. Fiona R
