The devotion this morning reminded me of my baptism and how I knew God had called me even through the injury I had endured. An even though I can only do a few things for his purpose due to my health issues and financial situation I am doing his work when he directs me. I walked through many events that should have killed me many times in my life but he was in the midst of it all and shielded me every step even at times I didnt think he cared.. I wanted to renew my life with Christ when I was baptized and I will never forget during my baptism the most beautiful church bells rang as though every church was ringing the Sunday morning bells as I was emerged into the waters. It was the most serene, beautiful sound that any person could ever encounter. It also reminded me of the scripture Jeremiah 29: 12 - 13. It reminded me if we set our mind on seeking God and glorifying his name how no matter what is going on in life he is diligently working on our behalf and he is right there with us. All you have to do is surrender and seek him. Thank you Lord for blessing me.
