The difference between the way FSU is handling the Jameis Winston situation and the way UGA is handling the Todd Gurley situation is depth: If FSU suspends Winston, they will most assuredly lose. While Gurley is arguably the best back in the country, UGA has the depth at the RB position to still compete week in and week out. Why risk being stripped of victories when there are viable options. I believe Gurley will be back for Fla on November 1st. UGA is doing the right thing here. Id rather not win a title than to win one and go through the embarrassment of having it stripped away by the very unpredictable NCAA.
