The discussion from FlartBox, thought I share my reply here as well. Practice ranges from 3-7hrs a day depending on traveling and location. I got it up to like 8-10hrs per day for a month I think right after Ejc. Hopefully I can get it up there again soon. I think one of the main drive for me, is I grew up in a less privilege country than most of you. I lived 21yrs of my life there, my parents are average class Malaysians. So that means Im like 3.++ something poorer than most of you. So the chances for me to be in America is by luck in the first place. Probably 1 to thousands. Then 2nd of all I started prop manipulation way later than most of you. I started at 27yrs old, I spent 15yrs of my life earlier dedicated to basketball which I never regret and do miss sometimes. So knowing that Im late to the game than literally almost everyone just gets my blood pumping. Just knowing that I came from a less fortunate place gets my blood pumping. Knowing that people from where I come from usually dont get a swing at life like this. And being able to push it and travel to all these places to see the masters whose been training for like 15-20yrs and are around my age gets my blood pumping. Just being able to see the possibilities and beauty that one can create when discipline and dedication is poured into their craft gets me going. When true dedication and love is invested, it gets my blood pumping. And when I was kid when I started playing ball at 10yrs I was already like this, playing ball 7days a week 3-6hrs a day if I can. So with all those factors combine. In a way Im just hungry, and less fortunate than many of you. But hey its not about where you came from, its where youre going. Peace! P.s Incase some of the things got lost in translation. What I mean is people coming from where I come from dont get the chances like the people from the Western World. Community is so important to me, for the first many years of my life in America I was looking high and low to find real people, to find sincere people. To find the sense of belonging that we all look for. Prop manipulation has lead me to a global family that is connected as you want it to be if you put in the time.
