The doctors and administration at this British Hospital should be dismissed for calling out Interpol Intelligence services to find and arrest the parents who removed their child from the hospital. The child, who suffers from brain cancer, was removed from the hospital by the parents without permission of the hospital after a dispute over care for the child broke out. The hospital refused to allow the parents to seek alternative treatment for the child that is available here in Massachusetts at Mass General for cancer patients. As a former parent of a child who had intensive special needs, Ive been in this situation that these parents are in where you have to fight to get your child out. Fortunately, we had a locally respected doctor who had been caring for our child for over 18 years who informed the regional hospital how wrong all their assumptions were and had the medical data to prove it.
