The doctors at Vanderbilt discharged me and I have just now gotten home. They felt the situation was not "life threatening" at this time but I am to call The Vanderbilt Vascular Surgery Group Monday to set up an appointment and to schedule surgery. They also want me to set up an appointment with the Neurology Clinic on Monday. Will have to go back to Nashville next week for these appointments and will have to schedule an appointment with my Endocrinologists to have my blood tests done before surgery. Gave me instructions that if the swelling in my leg gets worse, far more reddened, if I develop severe pain or fever to immediately go to the ER. SOP for suspected blood clot which they feel it is deep venous thrombus however the ultra sound did not show one. They want me to have another ultra sound and CT next week. I arrived in Nashville just in time for a horrific rain storm - decided since it is to rain all day tomorrow to come on back tonite while traffic was much lighter. Rained on me almost all the way home. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Please remember me in the coming week. Gotta a feeling it is going to be a long one. This is one tired lady - so I am going to lay my head down, my foot up and place my rear down somewhere in between LOL Again, thanks for your continued prayers.
