The doctors have finally concurred that my Dear Brother Gary has PML Progressive Multi-local Leukoencethalopathy. or in laymans language Permanent Brain Smog Progressive inflammation of the white matter of the brain in multiple locations. This is caused from AIDS and HIV. His T-Cell count is 48, it should be 600-100, so his Immune system is almost non existent. This usually doesnt get better. They have no way of knowing how long he can live with this. As more and more of his brain is infected the less he will be able to do, or know how to do. Right now he cant read and he couldnt control his hands so he could open his card. He also has a hard time using his hands to feed himself. He doesnt feel hungry so he doesnt care if he eats anything or not. There is no medication for this disease and of right now he has no pain. He needs all the prayers he can get.
