The dominoes are falling ..... Another met mast refused! This time by Dumfries and Galloway Council this week - a unanimous decision by the planning committee - again against recommendation from the case officer. . Ecotricity failing this time. When one goes (ABOs in the Highlands) others will follow. The wind industry will not be liking this at all - expensive appeals and delays. These are landmark decisions. The rubber stamping of met masts is over. There are policy reasons to refuse them so dont think you havent any hope - those days are gone, gone, gone - get fighting and objecting if you dont want them or the wind farm that will surely follow.
