The drs think that Tom may have a blood clot in his lung. The cat scan they did in ER when he came in showed what appeared to be one. But they could not take a good cat scan w contrast (dye) because of the bad shape his kidneys were in. If it is a clot, in his lungs they can not treat it in the normal way by thinning his blood, because of the possibility of bleeds in his brain. They are giving him his chemo pill tonight at 10:00 so we are praying he wont have any reaction to it. He just now was taken off of 02. His bp and pulse are good now that they have rehydrated him.
