The economist Prime Minister put all his eggs in one basket; breaking the basic teaching of a diversified portfolio and hedging against the risk of a much needed slowdown of unsustainable extraction and export. Interestingly, most colleges and universities will teach you on page 1 of first year economics that diversification is needed to offset the ebb & flow of the resource sector. With a diversified investment, with a focus on alternative energy, things might look a bit different today. Time to look at getting back to the basics with a new government in 2015... #leavinstephen2015
