The education system of balochistan at snail’s pace According to my acquaintance the education is the aroma of an essence which soothes the mind and brings comfort in the life of a person, in other words education is like a candle in the darkness of night , simply it was the education which brought the human being from a cave into a castle, from darkness towards light, however the life of an uneducated indsividual is like ash which has vanished it’s all potential , education Coerces the mind of human being to analyze to realize to scrutinize that how the enormous and complex system of the world is regulating, the regularity of sun and the moon , the dancing flowers, singing waterfall ,twinkling stars, nine blankly planets, around us, there is a great Chinese saying that ‘ if u are planning for a year then sow rice, if u r planning for decade plant trees, if u are planning forever educate ur people. but ‘Alas’ our education system is completely messy, though it’s the age of science and technology but we can’t solve our minute problems, whether that’s the field of Education, health, technology or any thing else, a good education helps empower you, making u strong enough to rule to the entire world, there are some postulates due to which the education system of balochistan is at snail’s pace. 1 The double language courses; A question always creeps in my mind that what’s the need of urdu language although our all documentation is in English, As English gives exact meaning of words specially in field of science like ATOM, in which ‘A’ stands for ‘NOT’ and ‘TOM’ for division means ( indivisible “) while the word ایٹم in urdu don’t give the precise meaning. 2. Most of the people claim that urdu is our national language we can easily understand our syllabus . But it is erroneous, indeed the students of different provinces speak different languages instead of urdu like balochs speak balochi and brahui, pashtoons speak pashtoo, sindhiz speak sindhi punjabiz speak Punjabi respectively, it means we have to learn firstly in our own language then we have to convert it into urdu and then into English very ambiguous. 3. The course curriculum of intermediate in Pakistan is massive impediment for those students who have done matriculation in urdu medium schools. Because in higher standards the urdu medium has been vanished 4. English medium syllabus has been offered in most of the government schools of Punjab, while in all government schools of balochistan the syllabus is in urdu, though we are living in same country. So how we can compete to other provinces it’s impossible. 5. Private & government Schools: poor students are bereft for acquisition of standard education because they can’t afford the fee and expenditures of private schools like beacon house, city school, HITEC , garrison schools, etc. due to which an extremely large gap has been created b/w the poor and rich students of the same society, 6. Psychological stress on the students due to presence of Metal detectors at gates, FC and police at the departments and examination centers of universities and colleges. 7. Paucity of information, guidance , and lack of indigenous & overseas scholarships. The education ministers are completely oblivious how to plan for education 8. The teachers of Aghaz-e Aqooq balochistan package; are also accomplice in the substandard education because they are vain and due to unaccountably they are sneaking away from their duties. 9. Faction political parties: biased, partial teachers and students have exacerbated the calm environment of educational institutions, so we can extrapolate our institutions instead of humble, magnanimous, and meritorious students producing the nefarious,& notorious students which are onus on their parents and lummox individuals of society. 10. National education foundation schools are also abandoned and unproductive. 11. Lack of instruments in laboratories of schools, colleges, and universities. If labs are well equipped then teachers are not available. 12. Every one is flinching and averting his eyes from these obstacles. This will lead us in a dark future. There was a famous quotation written on the sign board of my school government high school surab for teachers that-Think little what u taught today at school & for students Think little what u learnt today at school’ indeed if we follow this quotation we may be relieved of our impediments. As knowledge is power so It needs a profound vision, Because the future depends on what we do in present.
