* I have been asking these questions myself. * volta region splitting away completely from ghana and have its legal arms of government or.. * regarding volta region as a state in ghana having it own judiciary and legislative arms of government separate from ghana but share the same president.. ...which one is the best.. if we decide to go by the later, then should we again have our own ministers who will be appointed by the president and they must come from our region..? * there are whole lots of questions running through my mind.. ghana and volta region has now become like blood sisters even though we the voltarians are on the disadvantage side. * the truth is before volta region can develop one thing we must all stand for is having our own legal arms of government as a nation or have our own judiciary and legislative but still attach to ghana or fully agree to join ghana forever as one nation.. * as it stands now by the directives of UNO so many years ago, ghana has no right to take any resources from volta region.. * whether you believe it or not volta region is still practicing a trial government with ghana and after 50 years we suppose to now agree to be on our own as a country or be fully integrated into ghana as one nation. * since the time of independence of ghana, politicians know that it is not safe for investors to come and invest in volta region because sometimes in the future if we decide to be on our own they will loose everything to us... * up to date that fear is still there to develop volta region when UNO has prevented ghana to mine any resources from volta region. volta region has not reach any final conclusion with ghana but some how we the voltarian are thinking we are ghanaians because the history of our land has been hidden from us. *if it were you will you use your resources to develop a region that u know that it can split away from u after u develop it...? think about this very well and stop blaming the politicians.. they know better than you and i... *take a look at this... why should parliament of ghana refuse to pass the bill in parliament for the construction of keta harbour...? *three countries- have have longtime agreed to build the keta harbour with their own resources; they dont need anything from ghana than to agree on the commencement of the project. what re they waiting for... *i came to realise that these three countries know how the voltarian were being dragged into freedom in slavery with ghana. * fear of the british minded ghana government is that our colonial master is coming to take us from them and help volta region develop with a faster rate.. * i know they are afraid because Germany is one of the three countries who is involve in the construction of the keta harbour. Germany was the one who colonised volta region before the british took over after the first world war.. * the construction of the harbour will be the revival of the economic life of the people volta region and that to the british minded ghana will be our journey of separation from ghana. * people are afraid that voltarians will loose their jobs if we split away from ghana and their are not much jobs to support them in volta region...but my people i tell you that it is the best risk that voltarians should take..in less that 15 years we will all witness a radical change in development of our land. * dont say it doesnt concern you before it will be too late for us. in ewe we say Ne ewor koklohã koa ewor eyoe hã. * pls my dear voltarians..let us reason together.. * share this to all your ewe friends.. thank u.
