The end of another Sweet Chapter begins. Today, 10 months and 14 days ago, it seems only yesterday, Dana and I helped deliver this beautiful boy, initially called Bear, because truthfully, after sleep deprivation, Dana and I were not coming up with many names with so many puppies LOL!! 5 breach. 2 born lifeless. Here we are, with Mamma Mia in a great home and enjoying Life in Manteca, CA and now, with Dexter, ALL 13 pups, healthy, happy and in awesome homes from CA thru the Nation from NW to SW, Midwest to the South, NE to SE, a bit of our Mammas and a piece of our hearts follows each and every one. The change in each pup, some making a total light to dark, dark to light, some Sable, some Traditional, others truly kindred spirits to their Mamma Mia, others (myself included), still believing there were 2 possibly 3 Daddies!! Every one is intelligent, loving, shy at first, bold in their own ways, perfect and imperfect, earth angels and little troublemakers in their own right. All truly are beautiful. Some with perfect stand up ears, some with perfect wonky airplane ears. Just love them all. Many of you may not always have agreed at whom we selected as adopters but I can hereby say, I am proud to not only love each adopter to honored to call them all family and friends. Melanie Larrieu, and her family will be the first stop on Colens transport. Dexter will call beautiful Boulder, CO home! Our initial Journey to rescue two beautiful doggies from AVAS surely came with an amazing twist. I would do nothing different! All turned out beautifully. The Journey continues. Another Chapter ends and yet lovingly begins. God bless you, Dexter!
