The entire building complex attached to The Guzzle burned down - TopicsExpress

The entire building complex attached to The Guzzle burned down this morning. The fire started at 11 pm Wednesday night and finally calmed down at 2 am Thursday morning. It was freezing and I just went out in a t-shirt so Im sorry for the shaky pictures. They are in order from start to end with the last picture being the front of The Guzzle after firefighters got under control. The 1000 Island Park Fire Dept. was part of the building and burned down tonight. Firefighters from Alex Bay, Clayton, and more nearby towns came to the scene with honestly more trucks then could fit on the roads. Hopefully no one was hurt as it was so late in the evening but I can tell you one thing.. my heart really sank into my stomach when the roof fell in and all the fire trucks starting honking their horns.
