The essence and nature of mind is not ‘yours’. The phrase “look into the nature of your mind’ in English implies an owner. It is 100% erroneous. If you look into the nature of mind itself then you will see who and what this ‘your’ is and you will have good laugh. All appearance will have good laugh with you. Then you will know that freedom, contrary to the popular saying, is indeed free. Then the defense industry of ego will be de-funded. The essence of mind contains all things but is not constrained by them. The essence of mind can not be seen or experienced. It is something outside the concepts ‘perception’ and ‘experience’. If you say you see it then what you have seen is not it. It also cannot be sold to you, granted to you, transferred to you. The eye can not see itself seeing and wetness need not be granted to water. The nature of mind is displayed in all things but is not limited by or to them. If you think that all things are the nature of mind then you have missed the point. If you think all things are other than the nature of mind you have again missed the point. Things do not go beyond, fall or stray from, abide in, the nature of mind. If you realize this then the essence and nature of mind will amble along, in-as-of, not in-as-of, not same-other-both-neither, the mystery of being and becoming - at ease throughout the emptiness of appearance and the appearance of emptiness.
