The essence of maturity is to define your basic intellectual assimilation and social orientation within your milieu and offshore. Looking down from my vantage point, it becomes so glaring and illuminating that President Goodluck Jonathan and I, might have shared the same ancestral names as Igbo descendants, not only that, his state and mine were once together until the divide and rule formula set us apart in other to further plunder the nations wealth to the advantage of the bourgeois and to the suffering of the proletariat. Rivers and Bayelsa state are so close that they see themselves as brothers. But to what? Every Nigerian is a brother to another and we all are one people before the eyes of man. That Mr. Presidents country home is an inch away from my hometown does not make him a better candidate to earn my vote. He is not a man of honour and such a man does not deserve my respect. Before the 2011 election, Mr. President made it unequivocally clear that he will only serve one term if voted into power. For him to reneged on that promise makes him less deserving of my vote and respect. A man is known by his words. Set that outside, he did not succeed in reuniting this country neither did he succeed in bridging the gap between the rich and poor. He failed totally in terms of economic salvation. Today, the price of oil is falling down below our expectations, our budget is drawn based on the sells of crude oil and Mr. president have not even consider it feat to address the masses on the impending doom thatll confront the nation if the oil price continue to follow the downward slide on the global market. He is very busy drawing funds from the sovereign wealth fund to finance his reelection and campaign projects. The only candidate thats more qualified to rule this country is no other person than Retired General Mohammed Buhari. Nigeria and Nigerians dont need a clueless and shoeless president at this time of our needs. We need someone with good transformation not the type of Goodluck Jonathan. Transformation that couldnt prosecute corrupt public offenders, transformation that grant amnesty to convicted criminals. That is president Goodluck Jonathans transformation. Is time to allow the ex-general to do what he was born to do best. Playing tribal politics and ethnicity will continue to set us back to 200 years. We should begin to think as a unit and as a nigerian. It is that thinking that great nations today was forged.
