The essential principle is that the ego necessarily creates a materialistic viewpoint when it treats all of creation, including industrial workers and really all humans, as commodities. The resulting separation and sense of disconnection keep us from understanding that we are, in essence, a unified field of consciousness manifesting as beings in time and space. This results in not only spiritual-vibrational pollution, but also in the death of about 25 billion animals, killed annually to support a flesh- centered diet and way of life. Every day we kill 25–30 million birds and animals, and 45 million fish. Our slaughterhouses kill approximately 20,000 land animals per minute. These energies feed our shadow. We have to work hard to deny it. We no longer need to be in denial; we can move on from this.
