The executive team for Un Ratito Mi Amor just returned from their first IDM, International Decision Making trip. In five cool and rainy days we tripped through Mexican leather markets (touching everything, it seems that I simply cant walk by a hanging or folded piece of leather without reaching out and petting it...), zipper distribution centers, we were welcomed into the home of our manufacturer and invited to stay with his extended family, we brainstormed new designs (stay tuned), made color combination decisions for the fall and winter, cracked up at our pint sized helper and generally couldnt believe we were having so much fun... The leather we use for our purses is remnant, sourced from the airline, auto and shipping industry and therefore the availability of colors are often small batches of varied colors, very appealing to our kind of wacky aesthetic... So this fall, you will not find the colors that are strutting their stuff on the runways of New York, you will find daring combinations, (and tamer ones) of what ever we could find that struck our fancy (perforated?!).
