The fact that my Pastor doesnt know how to pronounce Kardashian is a good thing. The fact that my 8 year old daughter DOES is not. But I was thankful for an opportunity before bed when she asked me why the skin on my tummy was crinkly. Those are stretch marks, honey. I got them when I was pregnant with you and your brother. Sometimes I do wish they werent there, to be honest. But then I remember that God gave me those marks to help me remember you and your brother when youre not here with me. And then He helps me remember that not everyone who wants to be a mom gets that opportunity. So when I think about that, I am so happy I dont have the body of my 18-year old self, or even a Kardashian. Because then I wouldnt have you.
