The factory Porsche 919 LMP1 hybrid race car that Mark Webber shares with #TRS graduate Brendon Hartley was destroyed in a massive crash during the final round of the FIA World Endurance Championship this weekend. The crash occurred with around 30 minutes left to run in the FIA World Endurance Championship finale at Interlagos in Brazil. The Aussies No. 20 Porsche 919 Hybrid appeared to clash with the No. 90 8 Star Motorsports Ferrari F458 piloted by Matteo Cressoni. The Porsche hit the barriers on the right side of the track leading onto the front Weber was shaken but gave a thumbs-up to the crowd when extracted from the car. The sister car went on to win the race, while Toyota Racing secured the manufacturers title to go with the Drivers title the team won at the previous round.
