The fair will be Monday through July 19 at the fairgrounds on U.S. 63 in West Plains. Admission is $5 for children ages 6 to 12, younger children admitted free. Admission for those older than 12 is $5 today, $8 Tuesday, $10 Wednesday and Thursday, and $8 Friday and Saturday. Admission on Buck Day Wednesday will be $1 from 1 to 3 p.m. and carnival rides will be $1. All other times for the carnival rides every day will be 6 to 11 p.m. Armbands can be purchased for $20 at the fair board office, from the local Chamber of Commerce on North Jefferson Avenue or from most West Plains banks. The armbands are for unlimited rides and must be purchased each day. For more information contact the fair board office at 256-2198.
