While all of us whose talent goes unrewarded complain about it depending on whom one knows rather than what and feminists fondly expect equality in a society where decisions are all made by groups of males. But do we not have here just a simple basic fact about how homo sapiens, the social animal par excellence, always functions: love and trust within ones own social group and a fear and mistrust of all those outside it? Philosophers, social scientists, religious leaders all preach against it, only to find that their very converts become just one more egocentric social group with it own distrust of unbelievers. While within our own group we are all promoted to our level of incompetence.
