The farm animal sanctuary in Worcestershire is facing eviction on the Monday 21st July. The land belongs to someone who allowed the sanctuary to set up on it years ago but they now want it back. The sanctuary are hoping for a last minute reprieve and they will no more on the weekend before and put a statement out on there facebook and website. (thefarmanimalsanctuary.co.uk/index.php https://facebook/FarmAnimalSanctuary?fref=ts) Some people have decided to go up on Sunday 20th and stay over night to help try and resist the eviction the next day. The sanctuary is home to over 600 animals- many of whom face being killed if the sanctuary is evicted. Ultimately the sanctuary needs to sort something out with the landowner, which they are trying to do, but in the here and now we need to be ready to fight the eviction. Please consider coming with friends to stay over night on the 20th as many evictions are dawn raids. It is advisable to contact the sanctuary to let them know if you want to come so they know how many people to expect...you will also have to camp as there is very limited space.
