The father of Omar and Abu Baker was a prominent trade unionist in Libya. He was murdered for refusing to co-operate with the Gaddafi regime. The family came to Britain to escape further persecution. Omar Deghayes has links with Huddersfield and when we were told about the detention of Omar Deghayes in Guantanamo, we began a campaign and contributed to the wider campaign to get him released. This family have suffered enough!! SOLIDARITY WITH THE DEGHAYES FAMILY!!
