The first Fish Fry at the American Legion, last night, was a huge success! YES, people had to wait, but the wait was well worth it - the food was DELICIOUS! Gary ordered two catfish, thinking they were the small filet strips - NO!!! They were approx 10" long, boneless - GREAT!! And, I had the cod, which was lightly dry-battered; very good-size pieces!! She has a few bugs to work out, but guaranteed next week will be MUCH BETTER. OH, she begins serving lunches Monday!!! Come down and support the Legion - it is, and always has been, OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!!! She serves chicken, fish (two choices) and shrimp with potato (baked or fries) and cole slaw OR salad (nice sized salad). Please SHARE this information!!
