The first couple times ended so tragically it broke my heart. Your awareness to my presence humanized you; your calm & gentle demeanor was both unusual & unique and made me feel special & trusted. Corny I know, but before the fish, the dog, back when I had no furniture, I had your cage….In some ways you symbolized my independence, my something to do, my something to hold, my something to show off. You let me fulfill a personal vendetta that show-cased my strength and determination in the face of adversity and ruthlessness. I wanted to pick you, and raise you with no untimely ends, thanks for not kicking the bucket that time under the dish washer…..phew, that was touch and go there ….It’s been the cutest 7 seven years. Have you seen this place on one of your escape adventures, I’m living like you now…Star of the show, and the show is over….. Your void is emphasized by everything life brought while we were chillen….. Most will say you lived like a prince…I will say...it was my pleasure old friend…..R.I.P.
