The first internationally collaborated, and most comprehensive, long-term study on GMO corn and glyphosate/Roundup has launched. Dr. Oxana Sinitsyna is one of three FACTOR GMO review board members. Factor GMO: The study will take approximately 2 to 3 years to complete and will cover toxicity (both acute and chronic), carcinogenicity (cancer) as well as the multi-generational effects (infertility and birth defects). The study, which will cost $25 million and will be conducted in Western Europe and Russia, is almost fully funded.
