The first of the MiniChingVikings summer camps, the phenomenon that is changing the sporting landscape of E4 has just taken place to a tumultuous reception and huge smiles from all who took part in it. The sun would rise and the Viking would attend to the his flock. For the last three days the Hallowed Fields of Waltham Way have become part of Nordic Legend as 20 of the finest young protégés arrived to be inspired by the Inspirational Viking. The masses that had arrived on Monday departed today knowing that Rugby could be the beginning of an incredible journey on the road to redemption. Add to a fantastic beginning the arrival of the First team Coach Luke “Stumpy” Campbell to add to the already great atmosphere here at the Ching, who was greeted with a huge cheer as he set the children on the road to eternal glory. A great start to what is now becoming a summer time tradition, having fun in the Valhallan sun . . . I bid you good evening . . .
