The first sum S1 is just wrong. At no point in the series is it - TopicsExpress

The first sum S1 is just wrong. At no point in the series is it EVER 1/2. You dont take the average to determine the sum ever; thats just not how a sum works. If you go off to infinity, it does not become 1/2, thats just ridiculous. If youre basing the rest of your proof off that, then youre clearly going to come up with wrong answers. The sum of all natural numbers will not ever be -1/12 because there are simply no negative numbers in the series. It is a divergent series. I dont care how many PhDs you have or how long youve worked in the field or if string theory or any other theory relies upon it, its simply wrong. And it makes me mad:P
