The focus of this conference is on how affect and its management, expression and diversification animate scenes of urban innovation. Such registers and tone of the city are manifest in varied ways: in art practices and products, and in the affective range of urban life that displays ambition, disappointment, marginality, rebellion, and creative expressions in diverse forms. Temporal forms and affective subjectivities of place (memory, futurism, “happenings”, etc…). The city as a structure of feeling; the urban sensorium. Oh man, I love stuff like this.
