The following is for 8th grade students only, Good evening everyone, I wanted to get an email out with a reminder about a couple of concerts coming up that are a little out of the ordinary for us. On Sunday October 19th at 3:30 p.m. we will do a Collaborative concert with the Madison Community Band at First Baptist Church. The format will basically be the Middle School perform a couple of selections, then the community band perform, and then we will combine and play two pieces at the end. Should be a very cool experience for the students to see that no matter what their chosen career path ends up being, they can still enjoy music through outlets like the community band. Then on Tuesday November 11th, we will do a joint concert with the Madison Middle Chorus at the EKU Center for the Arts. This will be a salute to veterans. I know it’s quick turnaround for both concerts and a little out of our ordinary routine, but this is a great group of students and will perform and represent our school at their very best. Thanks!
