The following is indeed a Happy Tails but with a bittersweet twist. In honor of Tindra we post this... HAPPY TAILS ALERT for Clover (formerly Danielle)!!! Hello all, I thought I would send an update on our new little one and how she is adapting... First of all, I would like to thank each and everyone of you for this precious gift! We renamed her Clover as we were lucky to have her come into our lives. From day one, Clover inched her way into our hearts and her adaptability is something I truly admire. She is absolutely perfect in every way- words cannot express how much we love and cherish the little munchkin; she brings a smile to our faces everyday! After bringing Clover home back in October, her and Tindra became cuddle buddies within a day of meeting each other. They groomed each other, laid beside each other, and relied upon each other. Clover relied upon Tindra to show her the ropes, and to teach her the courage needed to be curious and how to enjoy her surroundings; I am glad she was able to meet Tindra. We lost Tindra a little over 2 weeks ago and she is missed greatly. Clover has learned that there are chipmunks in the backyard, that there are smells out in the world that need to be explored, and that there are toys to be played with. I truly believe Clover was heaven sent- She is here with Dan and I, never leaving our side and has stepped up to fill a hole produced by losing both Tindra and Audrey. We are extremely honored that Clover has come into our lives. We have made a promise to her that we will never leave her side and will hold her close until the day she takes her last breath. We are in the process of adding to our family and adopting a sister for Clover as she is in need of a friend as well. Enjoy the pictures! Thank you for all that you have done and for all that you continue to do for these little souls. Happy New Years! Cyndie, Dan, and Clover! AND....... Hello Laura, It is nice speaking to you again! Boy, I can only imagine how hard it was to let her go; we can never repay you enough for taking such good care of her! Thank you for your kind words for our huge loss; Tindra was very special to all of us, including Clover. Your statement, :As is rescue though, another always needs saving and of course Clovers adoption meant another deserving dachshund got a second chance and a warm, safe home to be. is very true of rescue; knowing that our adopting has saved another is a true blessing as well! Thank you again for all that you and the group does for these angels! On another note, we would be honored if you shared her story and your choice of day is perfect for the remembrance of Tindra as well. I am also saddened to hear of your recent loss as well; they will forever walk by our side and we will meet them someday- Our thoughts are with you and Clover sends her love and licks! Hugs to you all, Cyndie, Dan, and Clover
