The following post from my friend Father Nathan Monk, is an example of what I believe true Christianity to be. The flipside to this is when we allow ourselves to look at or treat other human beings in a degrading way, when we allow ourselves to gossip or perpetuate an unverified rumor about a Christian brother or sister, when we allow ourselves to judge our own Christian sisters and brothers - whether they be lay people or are in ordained ministry, then we have lost the very heart of true Christianity. Take this scripture as reference - Little children, lets not love with words or speech but with action and truth. This is how we will know that we belong to the truth and reassure our hearts in Gods presence. Monks post is to show that true unconditional love - is love that isnt solely contemplative, but it is very much ACTIVE, in every aspect of life. Thank you Fr.
