The fossil fuel industry deceptively uses the term natural like corporate America likewise uses the term free. How long will society remain numb to and tolerant of mass deception and outright lying? Answer: As long as religion and politicos worship money as the new golden calf. When the bottom line is money, morals lie buried deep in the consciousness of the self-proclaimed moral individual. And the devil is a deceiver, disguising lust for power, even purchasing power, as the security and happiness his followers believe money provides. Fracking is consuming and polluting water our children may desperately need to drink in a warming future. This need for clean deep water sources will come far sooner than we think; in fact that fututre is here. Its physics: A warming planet means more of our planets water will evaporate and remain suspended in the also warming atmosphere, unavailable for drinking, agriculture and industrial uses. At the same time when states are suing each other for water rights and rivers are running dry our leaders are supporting the pollution of our deep water sources with fracking fluids. If we can drill this deep for oil or gas to burn we can drill this deep to access water our children and descendants will need to drink and in a not so distant future. Duane Short ~ June 27 2014
