The freakin fantastic Swingtown Rebels are hosting the maddest Pocket Change Exchange (PCX) in ChCh this October. Dancers will be travelling from around NZ and afar for amazing dancing and loads of live music - including the wonderful Hetty Kate from Melbourne (hettykate/) and the Sideline Swing Big Band! The PCX runs from 1st - 6th October but there are weekend passes from 3rd - 5th October, and individual dance passes, so lots of options depending on your schedule. Whichever option you choose, Swing Riot is offering all Dunedin dancers a discounted deal on the PCX experience. Heres the wrap: - We will subsidise the petrol for Dunedin dancers to get to Christchurch (each person who is travelling in a shared car (3 or more people) will get a petrol voucher). - We will also subsidise your PCX pass at $5 per day (i.e. if you want the weekend pass which is normally $110, you will only have to pay $95 or if you just want to buy individual tickets well subside $5 per day). -And if you need a space to stay there let us know too as Swingtown rebels have offered to host some Dunedin dancers (they rock).
