The free market system and capitalism have been a total failure in this country......which is why socialism is so embraced by our youth. My wife has correctly analyzed why this is. Capitalism only works when guided by moral virtues. When those moral virtues are stripped away.....all one has left is survival of the fittest. Thus we see the numerous scandals we have the last few years. These people think the only thing they did wrong was they got caught. In the meantime.....many who trusted them lost everything. This is why Lenin despised Christianity. He saw so little of it manifested in the market place. Thus.....when man cannot govern himself....the government feels it must.
