LIVING IN GLORY “And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as we are one.” - JOHN 17:22 We as Christians have the glory of God deposited inside us, for God’s glory is the expression of God and when God is expressed the experience will be the beauty of God. To experience God’s beauty everyday requires that we express God in our day to day living. David is a man after God’s heart who never lost any battle because he constantly sought God before taking any vital decision in his life by putting on the Ephod before God for direction. Today, our ephod is the new nature we have received in God in the Spirit of Christ. “…Christ in me is the hope of glory” –Colossians 1:27. Christ activated in me is the expectation of the glory in every moment of my life. Scriptures says “Put on Christ”. THEN HOW? Living in glory is to know that there are two kinds of principle for living: The principle of knowledge (good and evil) and the principle of life. Living by the principle of good and evil is to live by what is good and bad. Your choices are determined by circumstances around you and how you feel. Your decision will be natural (soulical) which is from self and there is limitation to what you can offer yourself. But when you live in the principle of life your decision will not be made by circumstances but by the life in your spirit (For we live by faith and not by sight – 2 Cor. 5:7). Your decision should not be based on what is good or bad but by life in your spirit. When light shines, life responds positively but when you are bound in your spirit, that is a signal to cease from action until there is peace from within. And as such you become one with God in action (1 Cor. 6:17), and power is present to change the impossibilities. Living in glory is to cease from the fear of men, for the greatest enemy of living by the principle of life is the fear of men; what will people say? Never fight for right but wait on the response of the life in your spirit before action. Never allow circumstances to dictate your action but the word of God and always speak what the word says. At this, you enjoy marital bliss, financial bliss, sound health, peaceful relationship, godly influence in your family and the like. DECLARATION: I cease living by circumstances around me but I respond to the life in me at all time. I am a man of faith. Christ dwells in me, He is my glory, my expectation daily is glory and beauty. God’s word is active in my life, His word dictate my decision daily in Jesus name. MEDITATION: JOHN 11:1-10
