The friend of the (alleged) Boston Marathon bomber was just found guilty of lying to federal investigators (cops). There are 2 lessons to be learned from this trial & verdict. 1.) no one - and I mean NO ONE - is gonna believe you smoked so much weed, you cant remember what you said to re police and therefore shouldnt be held accountable for lying. And 2.) you cant get charged w/lying to law enforcement IF YOU DONT TALK TO THEM TO BEGIN WITH. Its complete STUPIDITY to speak to the police about ANYTHING. Whether its getting stopped on the side of the road for a possible DUI/OUI or a potential domestic or a federal investigation for a terrorist act, the smartest thing to do is to only say these 4 words: I. WANT. A. LAWYER.
