The full-page ad against marijuana legalization in todays New York Times was from Project SAM. David Frum wrote this op-ed back when he joined the board of SAM (Smart Approaches to Marijuana) in 2013. Frum seems to think some people (...I wonder who) cant handle marijuana because one puff may push them down a path to hard drug addiction. Some people really need the David Frums of the world to protect them from their own choices. In a world where technology, free markets, and innovation have opened up opportunities to millions of Americans to control their own lives, Frum still insists the outdated policy of prohibition protects the little guys. SAM does not want people to go to jail and have criminal records, but they do not advocate any kind of legal market. RAMP agrees with the other anti-prohibition groups that SAM seems to be the last ditch efforts of the prohibitionists to slow down the nations path to a legal, regulated market for marijuana. cnn/2013/01/07/opinion/frum-marijuana-risk/index.html?iref=allsearch
