The gals who created these AMAZING yarn installations in Denver are coming to Fort Collins! The Ladies Fancywork Society will be teaching a crochet class at the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery on Sunday June 8th from 2 - 4:30pm. Would You Fancy Learning To Crochet? Explore the sweet and the sassy side of crochet as we view historic crochet pieces from the Museum collection and meet the crochet artists behind many of the recent yarn bombed installations around Denver and in our own town. Crochet is a fast and flexible technique that runs the gamut from granny squares to glamorous gowns, from humble doilies to models of hyperbolic planes. Spend the afternoon with us and you will learn the basics of crochet, as well as receive all the instruction and materials you will need to make your own art installation.
