The game that put the Seattle Seahawks into the Super Bowl for the second consecutive season, simultaneously ending the Packers 2014 campaign, will long be remembered as one of the greatest come from behind victories in NFL playoff history. The unprecedented number of crucial events needed to secure a win in the final minutes of the NFC Championship game seemed, even for the die hard twelves, to be a gamble of long odds, but as the pieces fell one by one in favor of the Seahawks and their legion of loyal fans around the globe, it began to appear as though a return to the Super Bowl was suddenly within their grasp, and when the game ended in a sudden death overtime victory for the city of Seattle, two facts became abundantly clear.
