The general tendency these days is to equate success with wealth and fame. But when asked how much wealth one needs to be successful, most people falter because an arbitrary target or an attempt to compare oneself with others just won’t do. Neither will working to raise children of character or serving church and community, for true success is about doing the best we can, with what we have, wherever we find ourselves. So stop focusing on who you’re not or comparing yourself with someone else and instead, learn like Paul to ask that most important question, “Lord, what do You want me to do?” (Acts 9:6) and be prepared to act accordingly.
