The golden rule is something you do. It should start with those we love the most, our spouse, our children, our extended family, the people we work with, the people we go to church with and the person that we have never meet before or may never see again. If we treat people the way we want to be treated we will be busy sowing seeds of kindness, we will be quick to forgive, and to forget, and quick to give someone a second change. When we are spoke to in a harsh manner we will not respond in kind we will return a soft answer. We all have many opportunities to do the golden rule every day.
