The good thing about clemson winning last night... is it sets up this scenario. Bama loses @A&M.... OSU loses @Northwestern.... Oregon loses @Stanford.... Stanford loses vs.NotreDame.... A&M loses @LSU. These losses slide Carolina and Clemson up the polls slowly but surely, eventually leading to (if both Carolina and Clemson win out like they should) an 11-0 vs. 11-0 match-up November 30 in Columbia. More than likely a #1/#2 match-up as well, and unless Gameday goes with the homer OSU/Michigan game, Gameday will be in Columbia for that clash as well... setting up by far the biggest Battle for the Palmetto State of all time.
